I was just helping my dad replace the brake fluid in his truck and he forgot to replace the lid to the funnel like thing into the master cylinder so when i stepped on the petal to pump the fliud out, it sprayed all over the running engine and started to burn. you could faintly see what looked like steam so I shut down the engine and got out and i could smell it. i was breathing it in for about 5 mins so im asking anyone who has experiance, am i in any danger and would this "steam" from the burning brake fluid be poisonious in any way? im just curious because it was quite smelly and i know that most vehicle related liquid/gasses are pretty bad for you. i could have been smelling the truck exhaust tho cuz the smell stronger toward the back of the truck.
thanks-KD
