Gatorade free flow tour for skiing?

for the summer dew tour they have a thing called the gatorade free flow tour which is for am's  who need a "big break" or want to get into the dew tour. it would be really cool for them to have one for the winter dew tour. Has any one heard anything on if they will?

The Gatorade Free Flow Tour is the Official Amateur Series of the Dew Tour. For five consecutive years Gatorade Free Flow Tour has searched the country’s premier skateparks giving top ams the once in a lifetime chance to “Flow to Pro”.

The goal is to find top talent from across the country while giving skaters and bmx’ers of all abilities the opportunity to have fun while competing in a contest. Past winners have gone on to become some of the Dew Tour's most popular and successful athletes, including Mike Spinner who was second overall in the 2008 BMX Park standings and Chaz Ortiz, winner of the 2008 Dew Cup for Skate Park.

The 2009 Gatorade Free Flow Tour will include a total of 33 skateboarding competitions (five skate vert and 28 skate park) and 20 BMX contests (four BMX vert and 16 BMX park) at 33 parks across the United States. The winners in each of the 53 skate and BMX competitions will be flown to the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals, taking place at the Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge, September 17-20. Encompassing the “Flow to Pro” theme that is the cornerstone of the Gatorade Free Flow Tour, the two overall skate and BMX park champions and the two overall skate and BMX vert champions earn a spot to compete against the pros at the final stop of the Dew Tour, the PlayStation® Pro in Orlando, Fla., October 15-18.

dew tour has a lottery pick system. thats why my coach at windells, ben moxham, got in this year and didn't get in last year.

and im sure they probably let the top 10 finishers from last year in automatically.

dew tour normal has a a open event for each event like this summer they had the Nike 6.0 Bmx Open in chicago in June then a couple weeks ago they had the Skate Open in boston. I know for the BMX Open they had tons people at the quailfers for it. I'm sure winter would be the same way or maybe not.


free flow is pretty simple. win what ever reginol event you chose to compete in. Example one of my friends won BMX Park at 4 seasons skatepark in Milwaukee in june by winning that he is flown out to the TOYOTA CHALLENGE stop next month in Salt Lake, UT to compete with all the other winners in the Free Flow finals for a spot on next years tour.

yes, how ever this is a easyier way to get in becuase u dont have to deal with a ton of pros, also with the qualifyer in like december there wont be any decent jumps to hit befor that to get some dubs under ur feet,

qualifiers in breck, all other stops are invite unless you qualified in breck.

registration for GFFT are open, i just registerd. Win that, you get into dew tour.
