I've had my Jesters for nearly a year now, had them mounted on some Atomic Punx first, now Line Chronics. For about 7 months ive noticed the toe piece lifts a fairly substantial amount (1-2mm) while im riding and even more when not clipped in.
As in, your boot moves up and down in the toepiece, but the toepiece is firmy attached to the ski?
Or your toepiece moves up and down 1-2mm and is not firmly screwed into the ski?
This is the difference between toe height adjustment (which I thought jesters did automatically, but could be very wrong) v. possible remount with helicoils
you need to tighten it down with a pice of paper wedged under it, once that paper almost get stuck you should be good. Thats what i was told to do and it worked.
yeah man, i used to have the same problem. I found that it was the plate on the under side of my ski boots like underneith your toes was really worn down. maybe try replacing that? they just screw on and off. that sorted the problem for me (:
