What is Best Season Pass Deal in the North East?

I am a part time student but I think I want to try to get the Stratton / Okemo / Sunapee pass.
Has anyone tried to swing it as a part time student?

I live in Worcester, Ma and don't want to own a Season Pass to a mountain >2.5 hours away.

I wouldn't mind going in with a couple of people to get a group deal either.

I have skied Sunapee, but not Stratton or Okemo. I know Stratton is a great mountain though.

Anyone else thinking of buying a Season Pass yet?

Never been to Okemo but from what I've seen from what New Intel. does there, it looks nothing short of dope.

a college pass will need a letter from the college saying you are a full time student

and i have a feeling that the sos pass is only for college students? i dont know though

Resorts have taken a hard line on showing that you're a full-time student over the last 8 years. I use to show up at Stowe and show them my student ID. Schools expect to have an influx of students asking for embossed letters saying they're full-time now.

idk if this is all correct but there was a north eastern pass where you could ski a shit load of mountain from newyor to vermont to PA.. dont remeber what its called but they had some kick ass mountains ont he list... mount snow, straton, killington, greek, okemo, bromley, hunter, tog, and some other ones and it was fairly cheap. im thinking like around the $300 mark?

but like i said im not %100 sure on this.... check the windham website. that where i saw it last

Thanks for the heads up, Sunapee just wanted to see my Student ID last year, both times.

Embossed letter huh... Well I'm just a part time student; work for 40+ hours (family business) then 2 or three classes, but not 4...

Anybody getting a Group Season Pass that I can get in on?

i would not recommend going to Okemo. it's a good mountain mid week, but on the weekends it gets incredibly icy, even for the east, and it insanely crowded. and, the layout of the base is really bad, if you park by the main mountain you have to take one of two lifts to get you where you can take other lifts to get anywhere else if that makes sense. so basically everyone has to go on these lifts and they get packed. i would look at mount snow, which is probably around the same distance. sunapee is a good bet too, and if you're willing to go a bit further, loon is a sick mountain

Yep, now at UVM you have to get a letter signed by the registrar stating that you are a full-time student.
