So my sisters friend works at a salon and this guy came in with dreds and wanted to get them cut off. So she starts cutting his hair and every time she makes a cut he yells with pain. Then the guy decided it hurt to bad and left the salon. Later they found the guy dead a couple blocks away. This guy had a black widows nest in his dreds and they were bitting inot his dome peice its crazy!

Dreadlocks Infested with Spiders

Another similar urban legend has a young man with dreadlocks leaving the barber shop prematurely because the barber was clipping into his scalp while giving him a haircut.

Later, when he died, it was discovered that hordes of spiders had infested his hair and were continually biting him.

Black widows spin their webs in paces that are rarely disturbed, and generally low to the ground. Dreadlocks definitely wouldn't be a friendly host to a black widow.

They're super pretty!...as far as horrible poisonous spiders go.
I remember the first time I saw one--I always thought the red spot was on its back, not its stomach. I really wanted to try and flip it over with a stick or something to see its red stomach, alas I'm not that retarded.

Black widows are fucking sketh, we got them here, their tiny and hide under toilet seats, if you go to a public toilet you always have to check for them, sticking my head down the bowl is better than dieing with a bite to my ass.

Ya, two of them were found in a fruit tray at my work, they must've been shipped all the way here from Brazil or something cause thats where the grapes came from.  So we had two black widows in a jar at my work for a couple days and then they died.

Yes, they used to live in our basement in the windows. It was really cause I would go look at them when I was little, don't know how I did that. I hate spiders. When I lived in Arizona though I did find a taranchula in our backyard.
