Trouble with 3's on jumps with big lips

it seems that every time i try a three on a jump with a big lip i land really backseated and can rarely land them. I can land 1s,5s, and 7s off these same jumps fine. Any suggestions on what i could do to help or what i might be doing wrong?

You can land 1s, 5s, and 7s....but not 3s? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

i can land 3's sometimes but i cant seem to land them smoothly. I can land them fine on smaller jumps just on bigger ones its harder. i think it might be something to do with getting comfortable spinnign slower

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've hit jumps with a lot of kick on them where I couldn't land a 3 because I was going corked unintentionally but couldn't get out of it. My 540s come back around on their own though, so I could land them a lot easier.

its just cos a 3 is almost too easy for you now- u dont think abiout it... just spot your landing early and have the balls to put your face on the line and...STOMP!
