ok im going out with this girl now but i always can never think of good stuff to go out and do with her, any cool ideas besides the usual go to movies and that stuff

me and my friend came up with the 5 dollar date, and it takes all day. Starting at 1:00 in the afternoon. First, take her to a park or lake near you, and just walk around and shit, then play on swings and stuff like that. It may sound dumb, but it's still fun. Next, take her out to get ice cream cones. that's a dollar a cone, so 2 bucks total. Then go rent a oldschool classic movie for 99 cents. Total of 3 dollars. Go back to your house and 'watch' it or do whatever. The end.......last 2 dollars use for gas........ peace

go play mini golf, go to a museum, see a local theater production, go to a craft show, go to the beach, local concert, Six Flags, go bowling, go carting, go people watching and make up funny stories about people...

but the 5 dollar date sounds awesome!! that is prolly one of the best ideas ever!!!

If you live in Ottawa take a girls skating on the canal in the winter or rollerblade beside the canal in the Summer. I guess you could do that less the canal anywhere else too, but it loses some effect. Also, if you have a couple extra bucks lying around, take her for a trip around the world.

Ah, a date thread... we've been needing this. Well, if you're pretty close already nothing beats renting some movies and just chilling at home with lotsa beverages and popcorn- of course, this usually isn't best for a first date with a girl you don't know that well (unless you're planning on moving fast). Other good ideas have been posted... go to a concert by a local band that has no cover charge, go bike riding/running/fishing/skating (whatever you're into), having her over to study with is always fun, I don't know... the more creative the better though. There should be something interesting in your area that you can go see together; for example, in Idaho I'd always go with girls down to see Shoshone Falls, the biggest waterfall in the western U.S.... here in Michigan we can go up Traverse City and just hang out on the beach...

hah yea i know skiing is a good idea because most people here are probably good at it and look good to girls doing it, but the snow has been gone for 3 months now.. motel 6 maybe.. lol

the best date ive ever had was i went skiing with this one girl (she was a pretty good snowboarder). and then chilled at her place with some movies. it was a good start to the relationship that went for about 9 mos. but then she stopped talking to me. Bitch. oh yeah that's a good point about no snow unless you live in Whistler or even Vancouver

Lots of movies at someones house is good if you have like 4-5 friends so its not awkward or anything. Definately don't get chick flicks though. It really depends on what the girl likes to do (ie. party, drink, smoke, etc...)

Never take a girl skiing if she sucks...it pisses you off and she gets mad cause you inevitably will wanna ditch her cause she sucks and skiing the bunny hill all day blows. It gets old skiing down fakie and 'showing off' cause thats what they will think. Take her to a beach, if you live near one and just walk along at sunset...you get bonus points for being romantic when in all reality you are just a cheap bastard not willing to take her out for a nice dinner. If you cook her dinner make sure she is not a vegetarian before you grill up a nice T-bone in her honor. Stay in and watching movies is the best, especially if your parents are home or even better have your own place. Movie selection has to be right too, Saving Private Ryan great movie not good for a date the exploding heads are a turn off. Stupid girl movies win major bonus points but I think we can all agree we would rather be stabbed in the eye than have to suffer through some of that shit. Hint girls who arent really into skiing (hell most that are even into skiing) dont enjoy watching the history of poorboyz all night long so put away your collection, State of Mind is not considered a classic movie by anyone but us. Joe's movie suggestions: 1) The Ladies Man is a good movie cause its funny and talks about butt sex a lot and we know girls love that. 2) Chasing Amy, talks a lot about lesbianism and sex, while maintaining humor. 3) Office Space, cause well you have to watch it everyday anyways so make her watch it too.
