hey how much does it cost you guys in fabric? im going to club tissue tomorrow to maybe pick up some cotton ouate

price are all over the place.

fabric:
i can get fleece which i use most of the time for like 4 bucks a yard sometimes its like 9 bucks a yard
jersey cotton (normal sweatshirt fabric) i can get for like 4 bucks a yard i have seen it up to 13 bucks a yard.

zipper will probably be about 4 bucks

For the construction of my hoodie, everything cost about $50. It would've cost more, but there was a sale on at my Fabricland so I got my stuff 50% off. Lucky me.

For me, one hoodie cost around 35-40 dollars

i think you guys need to shop around a bit. i just got two hoodies worth of fabric for $7 a piece.

thats awesome! im going to buy some fabric tomorrow at club tissue to make my first hoodie. theres a room in the back with a bunch of left over material for super cheap. and my mom has this awesome stripped material that i could use to line my hood. anyways if i find anything good ill post how much it cost me.

i didnt find shit at club tissue but my mom has some pretty good looking quality fabric thats shaped in a tube. so i wont have to sew the sides. has anyone ever udsed this type of stuff?

try and find your fabric/fashion district. there's usually outlet stores and it's great. i guess that only really applies to big cities though. i got some fabric on st-hubert street(montreal/beaubien metro) for 5$ a meter. the walmart in my area also sells knits and they're about the same price, but they're poly-cotton blends. if you live in montreal, it's also worth it to check out darlington which is at rosemont metro. apparently they'll have anything you can imagine.
as for online, i haven't really checked it out but my teacher told me about www.fabric.com and from what i can see they cater to the average person judging by they're imaging.
i've also seen that you can buy off ebay as well.
