'Captain' Jack Carey passed away a week ago while riding his bike and running into a truck. I never knew him personally but my family was really good friends with his brother Chip Carey. I've heard a ton of good stories about him, and everytime i did, I came away thinking "man, isn't that the life" He was an inspiration to me as a skier and our condolenses go out to the entire Carey family. This is truely a loss to good friends and the entire skiing community.
