The thread size is 46 mm but it can easily be used with many cameras using a step up ring. It is .2x magnification with a maximum of 183 degree viewing angle. When its is zoomed all the way out it almost makes a full circle on the screen. The sample video below is at zoom 40 with a panasonic dvc-30
