Some old hippie woman handed me a pamphlet for this movie at the folkfest on the weekend. I didn't really realize it was an actual movie.
I'll probably watch it.

they did the majority of the movie in New lebanon, i live in a town next to it called canaan, the bus backing into the swamp was filmed across from my house. lol i was in there. dimitri fuked up so much on just a five min scene it took like 3 hours. i have pics if ppl dont believe me. im actually goin to a premiere thts next week at a small theater in chatham.

ya i live right near wear they filmed it too, about 10-15 minutes away, i remember my mom telling me about how they had ads for extra they needed in the movie in the local newspaper. I cant wait to watch it

Yeah man, i live in Pittsfield MA and had to drive through New Lebanon on my way to school in Saratoga.  I would pass the lot with all the old school cars and the broken down motel they used for most of the shooting.  Crazy stuff, it's interesting to see the trailer and know specific spots that i pass by on a regualr basis.

i cant get the other pics because there down the road at my cousins house, dont feel like walkin down there, but i will get them up by the end of the week. but these are legit screeening tickets held at the crandell in chatham. if ur local i think there a website just google it or something

Haha you and I must be thinking a lot a like. I'm almost kind of bummed that I wasn't alive to experience that. Something that just happened but so many people willed it to. I hope to someday be apart of something so epic as woodstock that I can tell people about it 40 years later and they still think it's cool.

it was okay. i liked it just because i saw about 30 of my friends in it and it was filmed in local locations. it didnt really have a purpose instead of showing how taking woodstock was formed.  they didnt even show any of the real footage of woodstock and lookalikes on stage or anything like tht. they also didnt have much music either i thought. but if u wanna see dimitri martin on acid and a bunch a ppl naked, there ya go. it was a mad cool experience to meet ang lee and dimitri martin. ill prolly see it again to c the ppl i didnt see.
