Saving up money

alright so i'm planning on going to either windells next summer, or just going to hood. So I'm wondering: how much would the cost be to stay at hood for about a week (the pass, food, hotel, etc.)?

well getting a hotel would be pretty difficult if your gonna be 16. just going to windells is the simplest, safest thing to do..even though the most expensive

Lift tickets are 52. So seven days of lift tickets would be $364. THen you probably want 75 for the week for food and you could either pay for a campsite or airstrip it for free. Then add your airfare. You could keep it under like 7 or 8 hundo...

yea dude, if you grow some balls you can just camp and have minimal costs for things like food (pb n j's) and lift tickets.  its easier to not spend money and live off the land than most people think, just get creative.

check out rideshare, and look into courchsurfing. Just be really careful about weirdos and shit. I thinking you could do the trip on $350 bare bones

alright cool thx everyone! i probably can't camp out caz my family is coming with me...but i just remebered that my fam has this hilton grand vacation timeshare thing so if i can find a hilton around there i won't have to pay for lodging.

going to hood for the week is the cheapest option.

I drove from seattle and was at the airstrip for 5 days. for about 350 bucks.

2 tanks of gas- 70
4 lift tickets- 208
food- 30 (mac n cheese w/hotdogs, PB&J, Oatmeal everyday)
weed- 60

ok well..i think i'm going to a camp then haha...my friend just told me that i should try out momentum...so now my question is (since next summer will be my first year going to a ski camp): which is better...i know def windells, but which one has more beginner stuff...

I know Windells has a lot more sick coaches there than other camps and after riding activies looks like its good times. But you got whistler village if you go to momentum or COC. Both windells and COC have more beginner stuff.   IMO

dude you can work at a lot of places as a 15 year old! check your local ski shop if they need anyone! I recommend working at a golf course. I do and its super slack

what i did this summer wich was much more chill than going to a camp is i got 3 other friends together and we got a condo like half hour away from hood, for two weeks it ended up being about 1500 per person for everything, it was sick cause we could do wat ever we wanted and just fucked around all the time

biggest cost is lift tickets

Going to Windells would be the easiest thing to do. You fly or drive there depending where you live. Then once you get there everything is there you need and I'd say it would be more fun that staying somewhere by yourself.

i've already  checked the local grocery stores and u need to be 16 to do anything pretty much...i'll check the ski shop later, but they already have a ton of ppl working there so i highly doubt that i'll be hired

well. with lift tickets, and lets say you camp. i'll say bring $500, and if you don't spend it all you'll have change. but that wouldn't include travel expenses, gas, plane ticket, etc.
