Need help deciding on a Pow ski

To start I'm 5'11" 170 lbs and I ski colorado. I want a ski that isn't a pure pow but still is a non-traditional ski b/c eventhough CO gets good storms, it isn't enough to justify buying a pow only ski.

I have narrowed it down to: Live Life 2, JJ's, Huge Troubles, and Nordica Zeros.

Right now I'm leaning towards the LL2 and the Zeros b/c of price and how they are designed

I hate to widen your options, but you should really take a quick glance at ON3P's lineup before committing to anything.

thats quite a list youve got goin there...

defitely take a look at the k2 hellbents too. i managed to try them out at a demo day and they are actually insanely versatile. they absolutely float in pow, carve insanely good, and are very fun in the park. buttery anough for rails/jibs and hold up good on jumps. same deal with the obsetheds. and both models are rockered too. such fun skis!! would recommend the 179 bents for yas, saying you ski a bit of park too. if you arent the park type, hit up the 189s.

BUT, if you must have a pair from your list, i would recommend the JJ's. everyone i know who has tried them has loved them, 2 of which bought a pair for themselves. good luck in your search!!

hey maan i ride 189 ll2s in CO and im 5'10 175. they absolutely kill it. they are a littlw stiff but it helps in everything that has to do with on-piste. i would go that route if i were u. the 3 stage rocker is awesome.

I've looked at hellbents but i cant find any that are in my price range. I definatly am open to more options than just what i said, they were just suggestions

ive got 189 LL2s and they are dope, but i also have 2 pairs of ON3Ps but only having skied their park skis i cant comment on the pow skis yet but everyone says they are amazing and if they are like their park skis then they must be

i have the JJ's and they are the best ski ever. they ride good on those days where there is only a few new inches or even none but when you get them into the deep stuff there great.

Gotama's and VCT's are fun to ride everyday and still excel in the powder.

I  am in a similar situation to yourself, need a pow ski but not just for perfect days.

I would widen the search to include Bentchetlers, Surface New Life and the Moment Night Train and Bibby.

if the surface new life is like a lighter stiffer hellbent then Ill toss up between it and the JJ.

seriously best ski ever. so much fun in powder. soft and buttery but also can charge decently. and pretty fun in park or at least jumps. i don't really hit rails on them

nah, they have too much camber to be a good pow ski, they rip shallow pow and everything else though.

moment bibbys would be great for you

or something from the on3p line, like great scotts or billy goats

You didn't list it, but I ski in Colorado and the Bibby Pro 190 from Moment was my daily driver for about 25 days since the beginning of February. They handle the powder very well, but also perform better than average through firm crud and hardpack.
