It's a damn shifty, that's it, that's all. same thing people have been doing in the air ever since it was re-named from the good ole twister. The thing Hornbeck does when he slides his skis toward the tip on the rail to nollie off is something different than the shifty. .The shifty is just holding that last 90 while in the air before turning 90 and landing for style points. max always skis the whole mtn that way cause his eyes are located where his ears should be

this is just new afterbang, and in most occassions the slide out is to hide the fact they wanted to do one trick but had to do another becasue thier edges arent sharp enough to dig the rail...

its wrong to change the name of a trick when its the same trick, like the ollie or nollie. but since this is not a shuvit in any way, it should be called a dead sailor. unless of course the landing is in an actual butter, and 180 out of, but lets not get ahead of ourselves, we're still 2 years behind where travis heed was 5 years ago.
