Should i remount??

i have first generation chronic blends, and they are mounted at recomended with px12 jibs.  THey are an awsome allmountain ski but there is so little tail, it is hard doing anything switch and just makes park harder.  I don't charge or ski hard when its not a pow day (and i have ARG's for that) so these ski would really be a mess around park ski.  I have two issued though:

THey are already way to small for me, i just don't have funds right now.  i am 6'4" 195lbs and they are 178's. 

I want to remount them closer to center but i had a heel piece rip out and it was heli coiled.  If the holes are outside the new mount, will that significantly weaken the ski?  cause if these break then i can't arrenty them and i only have ARG's. 

WHat should i doo?

If you already have a powder ski, then remounting those to center will be great since you'll just be skiing park with them. If they are truly too small then look into another pair of skis, because when you center mount it will definitely feel and look like smaller yet. However im really close to your size and ride 178 anthems so id say if you can live with them, they should be fine. As for the remount, did the heel rip-out when you had them mounted at suggested? Because thats no problem, when the bindings are moved forward the new holes should be nowhere close to the heli-coiled spot. When you do get them remounted, the shop will plug the old mount holes and probably fill the heli coils with epoxy and/or plugs like normal holes. And that shouldn't weaken the ski either, usually skis can take up to 3 mounts i think before they're toast.

thanks for the answers.  I think i am gonna get them remounted, i just hope that they don't break or anything cause i cannot afford anything other than a pass and a $30 mount.
