Square tips

what do u think of them .do they fell better than rounded tips

iv rode a pair of moment jibs in powder and they kept like snagging in the pow

i ride bibbys with the square tips, and ive noticed NO difference. if anything they are just cool cuz they stand out. why would a square tip hook more?

sqaure  tips make no diffrence at all. i rode the reno rockers alll spring an they were awesome. ^^^^ like he said they jus stand out an u know when someone is on moments. which i think stands out an is good marketing done by moment. most identifable skis out there

Ride some skis with rounded tips in powder and take a look at the shape of your ski up front that's covered in powder. That's right, it's square-shaped. Effectively, that little extra material at the very front of a round-tipped ski makes no difference at all.

But I think the real reason is marketing. You see square tips and you immediately know it's Moment since no other company has the same design (although Switch did borrow it but they don't really exist anymore).

it proboley snags becuse they are JIBS. and they are park skis not powder.

and they might make nose or tail grabs easier to grab

I'm pretty sure the only reason Moment has square tips is to make their skis look different.

I'm pretty sure your tips don't magically change when they are in powder to be square and if it's covered in powder you aren't going to be able to see them anyway.

which völkl ski has square tips??? and which park ski of völkl?
park skis are ledge and wall and both of them dont have square tips, as far as i know. really curious which model ahs these tips.

I would think that it would not really make a difference, i mean, you don't ski on your tips. They are awesome looking though, it's definitely easy to see when somebody has Moments.

Hell yeah, I stopped riding them after I got some new sticks but I just dug them out and mounted them center. Such a fun ski :)
