mailing skis

i have to send my skis back to line. what is the cheapest way to send your skis back? i was just going to go to fed ex and have them take care of it for me. any suggestions?

if i just go to fed ex with my skis would they have a box for me or do i need to get my own?

They may or may not. You might want to get a box elsewhere though. Last time I shipped a medium sized package from the UPS Store, they charged me $10 for a box and another $9 for bubble wrap.

Also, I doubt USPS will accept a box big enough for skis, so you'll probably have to go with UPS or FedEx.

If you go into most any ski shop they will have boxes. Just ask them nicely and most likely they will bro you down. Then send it UPS Ground. You'll be solid for about 35-40 dollars.

It will be alot cheaper if you take off the bindings and send just the skis. Most skis are relatively light.

ya my 1080s were delaminating after 7 uses. i took them back and they said that they might now warrantied because they are last years models. how shitty isthat. but they sent them back.

with warrinties...i though if you sent the skis, and the company found a prob with them, then they sent them back for free, and reimberse you for the shipping there....maybe, maybe not....check it out
