STH Z14 vs. Griffon?

theres the Z14 and the STH 14, two different bindings.

the griffon is okay, for smaller riders, ive heard of problems with them, but the jesters are sick, and theyre just a smaller version.

i ride the sth 14, and theyre cool.

I think from now on im gonna go with Rossi bindings. You should look into some Rossi/Looks if you can.

If you HAVE to go between these two, then I'd go with the STh 14. Don't get a Z14.

the Griffon is a 12 din, STH a 14. Griffon has more cracking problems, STH is bomb, even on me, 6'5 200 lbs.

im 6'1 175 for reference and for a correction its the STH 14. But isnt the only difference literally between the griffon and the jesters was the metal toe wing in front and the DIN...everyone keeps saying how the griffon feel like crappy plastic but i havent read anything that talks about whats different other than this! But in general you think the STH 14 would be much better?

The griffon has metal toe wings, but that is the only metal.  I have a pair I am going to mount up on my Lizzies.  They are really light, they do not feel cheap, even though they are all plastic.  I do not think there will be any issues.  I have sth 12's and they are sick.  I think that you cannot go wrong wiht either of your choices.  Go with whatever is cheapre I woul say.

if your 175lbs i would never recommend a 12 din binding to you, sth 14s or even 16s for sure

you really think 12 DINs dont work well? Damn that puts a damper on my wallet if im gonna buy new binders

im 150lbs and i wont use a binding lower then a 14 din

Have you looked at Mojo 15s? I got mine brandnew on ebay for $175
