OK so I just got my macbook pro today. Im on vacation in maine, so I had it shipped to the hotel. I brought my ipod and an external harddrive with me. First I tried to "transfer purchases" from my ipod but none of the media would exchange. (all video an prob 15% of music was bought through itunes) then I tried to transfer the files via external harddrive. (its vista/osx compadible) either my computer hasnt recognized it or I'm not macsauvey enough to figure it out. (first apple)
Can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?
btw- I have the latest itunes (8.2) and 3.0 on my ipod (touch) if that changes anything
