Stoked on this for sure. Its defiantly a different feel then the other trailers made so far. Wether you dig the vibe or not you gotta admit that the skiing is amazing. Plus with TGR they don't drop all the mind blowing shots in the trailer.
Wiley Miller's pow hand drag, Ian Macintosh getting one of the longest continuos face shots ever. Looks awesome

There will be 50 pro and am movies out this year without voice overs, but it seems you want every film company to step on the uniformity conveyor belt and make the same thing. Has it occurred to you that a hell of a lot of people are actually interested in learning something about the skiers beyond what they wear?

It was a little slow to get started but once it did it was awesome. I like voice overs within the movie but I find that they don't work so well for trailers. The trailer needs to be short and get me stoked so I buy the film.
That first flip off the cliff was massive.

But shit, did you listen to that cliche bullshit? I mean you know TGR is going to pump out basically the same shots every year, which isn't to say the shots are not crazy nice, but the Warren Miller voice overs from the 80's? come on... 'yeah, you know, its like, my soul out there, and I have to go catch my soul and stuff."

 Really, they blew it. Skiing good, cliche bad. I guess would be the main thesis of my paragraph.

yeaa but really? every voice over i've heard in ski movies have all been like that, all about how much skiers love skiing (no shit), how hard coming back from an injury is, blah blah blah. how about micing up these guys on the mountain rather than some room or a studio and get some real audio instead of some thought out boring dialogue probably thought up by the film makers anyways.

It is a different crowd here.  That is why you have people saying things like 'Wallisch is more relevant than Eric Hjorleifson' and the like. 

I thought the trailer was sick.  The shot of the spines around 1:43 was absolutely awesome.

HAHA CLEVER TITLE

TGR movies are good... I just wish they didn't have any park footy or groomed jumps of any kind. It's never on par or really even close. Having Tanner may help, but really if they just cut all that stuff out they would still have a full movie and the banger concentration rate would be maxed. The left 3 by I assume Sage (didn't look for ski sponsor but who else does it like that) was ridic.

Haha but there were definitely some sick shots in that teaser. Didn't get me stoked though. Trailers are supposed to ignite that feeling. That "need to get out and ski" jittery feeling. Big mountain doesn't often do that for me though because I'm too much of a pussy to ever try anything even close to what those guys do. Hard to relate to.

You know.... I'm not a fan of TGR.  There is no question they have ridiculous shots and arguably the best big mountain riders out there.  Last years Under the Influence had probably the sickest trailer so I bought it and was definitely disappointed.  Some crazy shots, some average shots, and pretty bad music.  Didn't do anything for me.

c'mon man. was there seriously not a single aspect of that trailer that you enjoyed??
you are completely entitled to your own opinion but at least appreciate it for the fact that it is a company trying there best to capture the sport that we all love.

my 2 cents is i enjoyed the trailer quite a bit.
-i really didnt mind the voice over mainly because they used it as a theme all the way to the end of the vid when they showed the shots of the riders giving high fives and all that jazz after shredding a line (i liked it a TON better than msp's voice over).

-i think the title is actually pretty clever considering the current times.

-and as always, i think that TGR destroyed the skiing aspect.
