Skiers At Your Home Mountain

I know at my home mountain a Mt. Rose, there are almost no park skiers, so i was wondering how many there were in other places...

Me and 13 others.  A few of them I straight up can't stand being around, they piss me off.  A few of them kill it way harder on the snowboard but still ski too. Then there is the ones I ski with nearly every day.

well, we have 3 ski areas within 40min driving time- big sky, moonlight, and bridger and i would say that park skiers make up 5% of the people skiing at these three places( granate we have a lot of tourists as well so its hard to tell who is actually from around here or who is from out of town and that goes for the people skiing inside and out of the park), but more and more kids are doing it each year!!

As for park skiers... Ones that can actually be considered park skiers probably like 10
its okay though I get to kick it with the 975679 snowboarders that cruise the park all the time.

Bridger the park scene is non existent, but Moonlight has a huge following of their 50+ feature park and a large portion of people at big sky who ride ram charger and swifty ride the parks...

yeah i know bridgers is no existent, but there are plenty of people that ride the big sky and moonlight parks and ski at bridger so i was counting it in to the whole package of the three areas... and just because moonlight has a tons of features and most people who ski there ski the park, doesnt mean that there are a ton of park skiers in our area. if you think about all of the people who are just skiing the three mountains, that is a TON! and really not that many park skiers. it might seem that way while your in the park but there is really a ton of others all over the place who arent park skiers, thats why i said like 5%

Interesting... when im up there i ski mostly tram and challenger so I don't see much of the park scene, but it sure looks busy from the lifts... and yes if you look at the whole area there are thousands of ridge hippies who out weigh the number of park skiers....

stratton vt has probly 10-15 regular park skiers (on weekends). thers probly double the snowboarders though. during the week there are probly 5-10 snowboarders and like 3 skiers.

like 8 and the whole hill has jumps and about 2 boxes and 1 rail every one else snowboards. you dont go to mulligans to go down the hill you hit the jumps. also if you do just go down the hill it takes like 15 seconds

yea, but thats because theres fucking nothing to do at central besides the park. if your not like 5 or just learned everyone who wants to actually ski goes to alpental.

they really should just make the other parts of central park too.

According to this site, there's a lot of park skiers at Mountain Creek. I've never seen one. I saw a few somewhere else, but i don't remember where.

there are a few park skiers at my home mountain...bluewood but are park is a joke and is closed half of the time anyway, so park skiers try to get away as mush as possible :(

This past season in Kirchberg, Austria there was a boom Freeskiing. I haven't seen this many ever... However everyone has all the latest gear and what not, but nobody really stepping it up.

Spirit Mountain fuck yeahhh! there's a pretty decent scene for people to ride with there, there's a few that kill it too. Plus the park is pretty awesome for MN :)

Loveland.

Like 1 park skier for every 50 non.

Although Loveland's park is like a 2 run deal.

1st run to establish the sketchy-ness of the jumps and rails and then a second run to stomp the shit out of everything, then you go ski pow and natuaral stuff for the rest of the day.
