Mac os: snow leopard.

so i am currently running Mac OS X 10.5.7 and would like to know how to get snow leopard. i read about it and it just seems like a good idea to upgrade.

to anyone who has it: is it really faster than regular leopard?

i have it. my friend torrented the beta release or something. its really similar, but the dock stacks now scroll for folders w/ lots of things in them, which i find very annoying. other than that, its pretty similar. the new quicktime is nice though. the edges fade away so your left with just the video and no border until you move your mouse over the screen. one random annoying thing i found is that the apple remote now automatically opens itunes, which is annoying when watching a movie in vlc (well, i havent used it with any other apps)

and i forgot to add that it does seem faster, but its nothing revolutionary
