Should i upgrade editing software

i found a download for vegas 7.0 and its downloaded on my pc

is it worth it to find a newer version (8.0) or is 7 pretty much the same?

if you are going to upgrade editing software on a PC you will want adobe premier pro cs4. not vegas

i use vegas 7 also, which i got for free. i think they actually have 9 out now, but unless you really need something that you know you cant get with 7, i really wouldnt bother upgrading. there is so much you can already do with 7 and it is really easy to use and adjust to.

Stick with Vegas.  Vegas is a professional NLE.

Vegas 7 is also less glitchy than 8.
