Does anyone know how the Fujatives would do on ice? I heard they're too soft and you're screwed, but I still wanna find out more.

They are made with a milled wood core wrapped taught by interlocking strands of fiberglass, thus it has torsional rigidness. In layman's turns, the ski won't twist like you are wringing out a towel. That is what makes a ski shitty on ice, it's lack of torsional rigidity or edge hold. The ski flexes forward and backward as in tip and tail, having no bearing on the firmness of a surface you are skiing on.
And no matter what ski you have, if you grind the fuck out of it, of course you make skid turns on ice, there is no question about it. If you get them, go carving on them at first when they are sharp, you'll be surprised, I was.

i'm sorry Schmies, but that technical jargain rant made no sense whatsoever. If a ski is stiff and is torsionally rigid, you will be able to put a lot of power and weight onto the edge, therefore carving through crap. If a ski is soft, but torsionally rigid (i.e. the Fujative, if your rant was correct about the torsional rigidity), it will hold an edge, but not very hard. That is why race skis are stiff. Beginner's skis are soft because they are easier to handle, and get a somewhat decent edge on.
