resizing pictrues

trivial questions

i have a bunch of super high quality picturs on my computer ina folder , ike, 25 or so, and they all need to be resized to be emailed. they need to be high quality still, btu not a huge file.

i have photoshop.

i just need how to resize them easily and all at once, and then email them.

only easy thing i can think of doing is putting them all in one psd file, like each different pic on a different layer. then resizing the image to resize em all at once. then show one layer at a time and save for web.
thats gonna be the easiest way.

try reducing the pixels to an acceptable amount. i.e halving the pixels reduces the size by 3/4 (so I@ve heard, correct me if Im wrong).

Then save as a Jpeg and reduce quality to 7 or 8. I find this to be a reasonable balance between filesize and quality.

put the resolution at like 200 or so and reduce the size of the picture down to 1.5 inches tall. this or something like it always works for me. but yeah, jpeg. med-high quality.

brody, if you have a mac, get the free program freePhotoConverter 2 which lets you do batch converts, it'll do resolution (image size) and quality (file size)
