to OP
that happened to me when I broke my femur I was laying on the ground at the bottom of the landing and kids were still hitting the jump because they didn't know what happened. I had to get other kids who saw me to hike up and tell people not to hit the jump

yeah, but it was super cold and I would have preferred to get some skiing in, we did plenty of cuddling at home anyway.

Jumping off of a pillow and losing a ski on top of it, then I can't climb back up it.  That shit seriously freaks me the fuck out.  Then once I fell right above a 10ft. drop or so and couldn't get up so I just had my friend push me off.

oh ya you just reminded me eating shit in the back country at the end of the day and looseing a ski deep in the snow and not being able to find it then haveing to get my sorry ass out with 1 ski that is now useless to me and haveing to buy a new pair of skis.

almost happened to me once but I found my ski after probeing 10plus minutes with my unlost ski. I was freaking right the fuck out.

me and some freinds cut off so the side of the mountain to get away from gapers, goin through some fresh pow, my tip dipped a bit and hit a railroad track. did an unexpected front flip.

yeah happened to me too... hit a tree well.. had to try to climb back up 5 feet and it took me ten mins, then couldn't find my ski for another ten

getting stuck in a tree well by myself.

or, one time when i was riding someone near me wasn't paying attention, cut across the trail and his shoulder nailed me in the side of the head. That scared me pretty bad.

Unintentionally going off axis on ANY jump. Even small ones because you always end up landing straight on your side and those are the worst.

I fucking hate that! i was bombing on a super deep day and 'basin and my right tip got caught under a fallen tree and ejected and i just launched face first and it took me a good 20 minutes to get my shit together and figure out what happened to my ski and get it back on it sucked. fucking hidden trees.
