i assume you're talking about the gorge?  both my bros went and they said it was one of the best concerts ever and they had multiple stages set up...

I don't get why everyone has beef with Coldplay. I listen to a lot of underground rap like DL Incognito and the like, but I also like coldplay.

Know why?

Because they have lyrics EVERYONE can relate to.
Next time you feel down, listen to them

its just a joke man...

but in all seriousness, that's exactly what it is. generic music (and in fact, viva la vida is like a christian song so i cannot relate to that shit). generic lyrics, nothing special on the instrumentals. its just everyday music. and 40 year old virgin made a funny joke about it (which gets everyones underwear in a knot for some reason).

Yes, you could call it that. But isn't that part of the reason it's so good? Some of their lyrics are really simple, but really deep. Simply worded so that you can interpret them how you want to, yet how you interpret them can be incredibly deep.

And yes the individual instruments are simple. But figuring out how to mesh those instruments together to get them to sound amazing is not simple.

Hahah I know it's a joke. I'm not personally offended, just making a point.

i had a thread about my expirence at theyre show going not to long ago...

at my show... at the end of a a song they did this

he got on the mic and was like "FUCK THE STAGE, LAWN WE ARE COMING TO YOU"

so they hauled theyre asses over through the entire croud and came to the lawn... stood on tables. and played like 4 songs, including a cover of "im a believer"... i touched chris's shoe

I fucking love the gorge. You shoulda stopped by next door at Cave B Inn and Winery. Shares a fence line with the gorge so we can hear all the concerts and my GF works there so we get to stay and eat for hella cheap. Just drop an NS reference and she will either

a) give you a big discount, or

b) upcharge you huge for bringing up NS at here work because she already has to listen to me jabber on about riding at home haha.
