yeah def, it must be like wearing nothing at all. i remember the olddd orginial mercurials were pretty light so by this point they must really have cut all the weight off of them

bhahaha.. I always used either some $50 Nike tempos or some $30 pumas..

How about you save yourself a nice $290 and go out for a jog. That might help you lose the 1 oz difference in between your vapors and my pumas..

haha. i wanted to try them out. i had the money then. now im mad broke. but theyre really good cleats. i dont regret buying them at all. but then again i cant play in shit cleats. im goin to nationals in 2 weeks and all idk, ive always been the kid wit sick cleats.

Lightest cleat I've ever owned but not the best. Best I've owned were the Umbro SX's they were white and black and said S and X on the back of each cleat. they were bomber but i just grew out of them. spending anything over 150 is bull shit cause theres absolutly no point. And vapors are notorious for the shell on them chipping and losing their waterproofing. my friend had those for 2 practices and returned them after that cause they were chipping in the toes, that was right after they came out so im not sure if that was fixed or not, the older model regular vapors chipped also.

i had some vapes that were legit, total 90 softgrounds that were balllllllin and my personal faves ever, the adidas f-50 the ones before the tunits, with the cool looking grips spit sole... hella dope? if ya know what i'm talkin bout, you know what i'm talkin bout, i can't find a pic, but ya!!!!

im just like you. if you were to give me 20 dollar walmart cleats, i wouldnt do good. some people say that it doesnt matter wat cleats u have. but for soccer, cleats are just like skis.

ya thats true to a sertain extent most cleats are fine. like anyhting around 50 to 100 are decent cleats. but theres really no reason to pay like 200

yea, i had regular vapors last year. they gave me blisters. when i put on the sl's, nothing! they were and are perfect. but ive always had good experience wit predators.

man anything over $200 is ridiculous because i end up ripping them up after a year. like the soles disconnecting is the most common. i usually just try on pairs and jog around in them. if i like the feel i buy them. that's always treated me the best. the $100 kelmes i had last year were my favorite of all time. had such a good touch.

yeah maybe spending $300 on soccer cleats might be a bit much.  One thing i dont understand though is when people bitch about soccer players paying a lot of money on soccer cleats, when baseball cleats are just as expensive, and they dont even make a difference when it comes to playing.  Whatever, if you got an extra $300 to spend on cleats, go for it.  We spend a shitload on skis too, same thing

i just sold my mercurial vapor IV's. I don't get why people love them so much, theyre pieces of flexible plastic. Kanga leather is the way to go, nike tiempo gets the job done well, i think im reverting to them for next season.

i've always thought nikes were a little wider. I tried adidas ones on and my the part of my foot where my toes start was getting squished. I never really spend over 100 anyway, and i just kinda play around and not really do travel or anything too competitive anymore.

I also have a pair in blue that is a little more beat up. I had two pairs of the total 90 IIs, one pair of the total 90 IIIs, and two of the total 90 IVs. I just loved them when I played, so I kept buying them.

i've got the most basic cleats ever. the adidas telstars. $50, black with the 3 white stripes. Cheap, but they hold up well and i'm a keeper so a lot of the things other players look for in cleats don't really matter so much for me

Hands down Preds no matter what year they are always goin to be a great shoe. Little on the heavy side but the comfort makes up the difference and not to mention i love the touch on the ball with them. I would have to say that in a close second for me are the Nike Total 90s and the Legends great shoes and look fly as hell.

Price for the most part does make a difference. You pay more you get more for the most part. Anyone the thinks that a $50 pair o shoes are the same as a $125+ shoe then they are high as fuck b/c the comfort/touch/leather quality in my opinion go up exponentially compaired to the cheap shoes.
