a kid on my old mountian bike team was at the dirtjumps one day with him, me, and a ton of others. We were all on our dirt jump / bmx bikes. well he decided to try the expert line for the first time.. now being all cautious and what not he checked it out and asked around. now mind you "EVERYBODY" in the park told him "2 maybe 3" good pedal strokes and just pump. you know that feeling when your hitting a big jump for the first time and you don't want to overshoot. Well, he was feeling it.. so he starts out, 2 pedals. PERFECT. but about halfway down he decides another 9 would be a good idea.. well needless to say he overshoots to his face ON THE NEXT JUMP'S LIP.
Well after everyone was done laughing and aweing, we went to check him out.. and it was Bad. Blood splattered for about 15 ft. and he was just laying there on his face barely breathing. Completely out. After the ambulences and police were done at the scene we went to check him out thouroughly.
The only image i remember is him sitting there with coming from his ears and cheeks but his nose completly dry. *except* for the face that skin from 2" up his nostril had peeled and turned inside out onto his face.. Disgusting..
3 weeks later.. came back. AND STOMPED the line.. just FYI
