Heating a Helmet?

As I was melting stickers onto my helmet with a hairdryer, the shell of the helmet began to heat up and become slightly malleable.  It has since returned to its previous state, but I'm not sure if  some sort of molecular / structural change occurred and if it is still safe?

It depends on how much of the helmet became maliadble(sp?) you should be fine. Its not a molecular change if any thing the part of your helmet that heated up could be brittle now so the outside shell could break easier, but its probably fine just use the helmet and hopefully you dont hit your head on that part of the helmet.
