Bindings for bent-chetlers?

so im looking to be ridn' a pair of them bent-chets next season and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a great binding that will rock on that ski.
in the past i have owned nothing but salomons (s912ti, Z12ti, etc.)
and lately ive been trying out other companys (one pair of looks and one pair of jesters). all owned in the past.
so im wondering if there is any brands that im not looking at, that i should be.
the thing i didnt like about the Looks (px12jib) or jesters is the fact that those heal pieces stick up like a dildo waiting to go right up your ass, and a couple of times last season i landed backseat and hit my taint pretty fuckin hard (one time it was enough to end my day)
so now im just not sure what to get.
oh yeah i weigh around 145, 5'8" an all mountain freerider most of the time but i also spend probly %25 of my time in the park, and i ski in oregon.
what type of bindings does tanner rock on his args and jjs? cuz im gonna need something that as a hella fat brake option too.
any advice/info/input/suggestions would help me alot and give you mad karma. thanks.

I rocked bentchetlers all last season with jesters. do it. and the heel piece sticking up? I never once hit it with my ass. but after skiing every binding on the market except some of the AT stuff, the jesters take the cake.
Just make sure you mount those skis pretty foreward, because they'll wheelie if you drop a lot. seems strange but it works really well.

I mounted mine with salomon s14 with the 130mm brake and they have been awesome. Previously I had only ridden Tyrolia's freeflex 17s and mojo 15s, all three brakes are super burly and durable and will hold you in in any conditions. I know you've tried a lot of salomon but don't overlook the tyrolias/heads/4frnts. I've had great luck with that brand.

okay sweet exceot for the fact that im shipping my pair of jesters away in a coupe days! haha, guess i might just get another pair if thats the coice i make. and where did you mount them? im thinkin dead center cuz i wanna ride them everyehere in every condtition, including park (and i know about how they can wheelie, ive had a couple different pairs of hellbents and those can hella come out from under you, haha. im excited to see how the chets ride compared to the hellbent) also i loved the helllbents dead center so whatever binding i get thts probly what ill go for.

Jesters... I live by them. They are the best binding ever. Salomon sucks they break way too easy

Definitely go for the Jesters. I rock them on my Hellbents and I couldn't be happier. I really wish I had a different ski than Hellbents though, everyone has them :( I got them for a killer deal though, so that satisfies me. I recommend Jesters on them.

I've said it before and I'll say it again on here. the reason to go with jesters, is the amount of elastic travel in the toe and heel pieces. basically it's like suspension, and it prevents you from popping out too easily. the only bindings that use this are the look/rossi ones, and the jesters/duke baron series. it's just safer, and no pre releases, because the binding isn't 100% fixed. if you think about it, how much your ski flexes will affect how easy it is to pop out as well. That's why I usually don't recomend lower end salomon bindings and not tyrolia. I have to ski groomers with them at a really high din, and never take them off piste.
I'm able to keep much lower din settings with marker jesters, and if you think about it, lower dins only mean happier knees as long as you're staying in.
I'm a ski tech as well, and after testing hundreds and hundreds of bindings, the markers always release exactly where they are supposed to, and are by far the smoothest release. that's by the numbers, not my opinion.
I mounted mine 2.5cms back, and benchetler mounts his 2 cms back. they work everywhere that way. you're not a big dude so you could mount them further forward, but i'd recommend against it.
I skied them park/ bc/ cliffs/ chutes/ gs courses/ moguls. they did pretty well everywhere mounted right there, and they slashed switch pow turns like a dream.
and they are a lot stiffer than hell bents, which makes them more fun on not-pow days.

that's me, i've got the same setup as bikerocker i think
jesters
2.5 cm back
zero problems
i think everything apart from salomon z series will be fine though. those bindings are truly awful.

oh...also when you say thhey are stiffer than the hellbents, how much stiffer are we talking? i deffinatly need some more pop than what the hellbents have, but also i still want to have a relitavely flexable ski. if anyone considers them stiff than let me know.

yeah read my review. i thought they were pretty soft, and i was actually a little scared about it at first, but they are easy to butter, and very poppy. they are really stiff under foot, and softer in the tips and tails. I could ollie them as high as I could park skis, and they are really easy to boost with.
i mean atomic calls the shape "pop-rocker" for a reason.

im very happy with my experience on STH 16s. They are the only binding i really trust other than FKS. Them and Tyrolia 15s or whatever, they are also a very solid platform. Never did like PXs or Jesters or Griffons, felt like to much plastic for my personal likings...
