What is the most respected activity in your town?

For my town (Waconia Minnesota) it is marching band. We are the best band in Minnesota, which means we are one of the best in the nation. I am in the drumline and play snare. After we won what would be the state championship for marching bands, we had a entourage of cars behind us that followed us all throughout the town and it was sick! Yeah I live in Wisconsin Rapids.. The lake where the show was last year is less than a mile from my house I bike there every day..  The state show is next weekend and already they have closed down the beaches which sucks..

Skiing in the winter. Golf and boating in the summer. It's interesting here in Spokane though because we also have a bunch of special events. Bloomsday in May is the world's largest timed roadrace (60,000 participants). Hoopfest in June is the world's largest three-on-three street basketball tournament. Because of the huge size of these events, very few people in town don't participate.

definitely football, so cal is the top recruitment center for talent of the united states, its not a sport here its a way of life, texas is obsessed more probably but dosent produce as many high end football collegiate bound athletes. back when i played in HS we would practice for 6 hours a day (3 and a half field work, 2 hour weights, 30 min track sessions)
