Well Hood Doesn't have much BC runs but Mt bachelor does pretty good during December with like a 4000 foot long lift on the backside of the mountain and a friend and i took a run at the end of the day for about an hour an a half without hitting another track
Depends on where you end up at. Here in CA we had a few years where we got over 6-7 feet of snow around New Years. Mammoth gets lots of pow sometimes and has a great park. It all depends on luck. You might show up in UT thinking they always have powder, but then it doesn't snow at all while you're there. It is all dependent on luck.
Go somewhere that has lots of good resorts in one area. Tahoe, SLC, or CO. I don't know how close together resorts are in CO though. I would say Tahoe or SLC and you're set, can't speak for CO.
