So my sister might have Cancer.

Im pretty pissed? i dunno what to really think right now but im done thinking about it and i have nothing better to really do but go on this site, i cant go visit her in her room cause there figuring out the prognosis? or whatever i dunno im just rattled right now

basically it started out as abdominal pain and now there keeping her over night. i have camp in a week and i dunno if i even am gonna fuking go

im gonna be honest i need vibes right now NS

damn man, that realy sucks, ive had a family member pass from brain cancer, shit is the worst, theres just nothing they can do about it.

yo man, the shit runs in my family... I know what you are going through. First off im sorry to hear that. But man, all you can do is give your sister all the support you can, alot of different types of cancer are treatable, and if your sister has a good atitude towards it she can fight...hard.

But bro... You cant steal her thunder... She needs YOUR vibes, and positive vibes from the people around her.

But on the same note, your going to go through a tough period in your life, you are going to learn a lot about life and everything it throws at us. So for that all I can say is, be prepared for the worst, but expect the best.

My father was diagnosed with cancer back when I was in high school. Had the worst prognosis, aside from just dying then and there. He beat it all, he was always optimistic about the fight. That's what you gotta do if it turns out to the case. It'll be super hard, but resilience and devotion are going to be key. Hopefully it's nothing major, but if it is, just help her with the fight, because it could be so treatable. It's amazing what medicine can do these days.

aww dude major vibes! lots of cancer's are treatable so lets hope first off all that it isn't cancer, but if it is that she will be able to get healthy again. My aunt just had non-hodgkins lymophoma this year and the most important thing is to just provide unwavering support+love to your sister! i hope things work out for the best!!!

The only advice i have is be positive around your sister. Talk to her about stuff she likes, make her happy and help her know she will get better. My grandma who I was pretty close with had cancer. You've got to be strong for her. If she does have it, it would help for her to be emotionally supported and strong to deal with all the physical strain disease and medicine have on a body

+Vibes man, 4 years ago both my mom and my grandma got diagnosed with breast cancer at the same time. My mom made it and is awesome now but my grandma didnt. I know what it is like.
If the tests are positive for cancer and she has to go through treatment there are a couple things to think about. First, you are gonna feel completely powerless as you watch them go against one of the worst things someone can go through. To me, that is the hardest. Second, its really easy to over think trying to help. In the end, the biggest thing to do is just spend time with her. She will act and look sick and you just have to be there for her. That is the MOST important thing. It is really wierd. You hear the word cancer and everyone knows its terrible, but then when you go through it and you are with someone who has it, it will seem like they are just sick with the flu or something. Its hard to explain. Third, the biggest thing I did for my mom was shave my head down to the skin before she lost her hair from chemo. It may seem corny but thinking about the time I showed her reminds me how important it was for her. It is a really big deal for a woman to lose her hair and if she has to, having someone kind of ease you into it is huge. Seriously, I could talk about this for a long time. If you need extra anything PM me I would love to give you support.
In the end, just be there for her and spend quality time with her. Remember that she is going to be very scared the whole time so you should NOT show her your fear. When you are confident it rubs off on them. Dude, ugh, Im sorry. But just show as much love to her as you possibly can and I am sure it will be ok. Much love.

my grandpa and great grandpa died from cancer, but they were super old, and it was from asbestos.

y'know, with medicine how it is today, even if she has cancer, shes got a pretty decent chance of recovery.

just hang in there man, it'll all end up good eventually.

my mom had cervical cancer but fortunately the surgeons were able to remove it on time and it hadn't spread at that point. so i know how u must feel.

i have a friend whose cancer just went into remission, we're hoping it lasts for as long as possible, it'd be nice if it never came back. it was amazing to see how positive he stayed through everything. he was still himself. the cancer took so much from him including his aspirations to become an artist- he couldn't go to art school- and to see him pull through it and get it into remission just gives me the greatest feeling and that he deserves it 110%. make sure your sister and you both stay positive because it sounds cliche but it can save you, give her a reason to keep fighting and hopefully it will all turn out for the best

UPDATE

Sorry i fell asleep last night guys, its probably good that i got some
Your prays came through NS they really did

But early this morning i checked in with the docters and they said that they have some good news

She doesn't have cancer, but its not all good news, she has a removeable tumor in her lungs or something, probably from all the smoking she fuckin did

Anyway, so its not a cancer tumor but it might leave lung damage
The surgery will take place later on todday

Im pretty happy but still just overall depressed
My dad had to go early and i still havent told him the good news

i still had to tell my sister she had a tumor though, and ive realized something, its not  her that has to stay strong, its everyone in the family, if we all pull together for her she has a chance, postive strong attitude towards life delivers profound results, i dunno

Just keep the prayers comin,
