Skull candy wiring

i got a pair of icons a couple months ago and about a week or so ago they crapped out on me and i know its the wiring should i get new ones under warranty or try and see if someone could fix them as in like not crappy wiring? i searched and found nothing

well you could warranty them for new ones, or try to fix them and if you break them more you could send them in for warranty

yeah do what he said ^^ just take off the soft ear piece then screw the earpiiece off then see if any wire is unnatached and if it is, then sadder that sheeit

Warranty.  It's easy.  Go to their website, click warranty, and fill out the form.  Takes less than 5 minutes.  They'll email you.  Then, you cut off the cable and send the plug part to them, and they will send you new headphones.  Mine took less than two weeks, from when I sent mine.

The drivers are great, but the wiring sometimes fails.  I know people who've had theirs for years without problem, and some people have had lemons.  The most common problem is that the connection fails at the plug, and you lose sound in one or both drivers.  they're great headphones, though, and the skullcandy warranty is awesome.  free replacement for life if it's failure, replacement for 50% if you broke 'em by smashing your head on a rail.

yeah my icons connection failed at the plug and i was windering if there is anything icould do thats cheap/easy to do to repair them

Yeah.  Skullcandy is one of the only companies I have heard of that gives you a discount for breaking their product.  Makes me feel comfortable using them in every situation.

I have seen SO many people with cracked iphones, but they just have to live with them.  At least this company is nice to it's buyers and gives you new stuff half off!

Yeah.  They have a different warrenty group in every country so that might be true.

anything. i've gone through so many pairs of skullcandies it's rediculous.  they always fucking break, I got them warrenteed once and it wasn't even worth it after that since they just kept breaking.  Plus, the sound quality in them is terrible for the price you pay, especially the TI's like I had.  I currently have the earbud ones my sister got for me that come in the rasta color except mine are white (i forget the name of them) and I hate them.  They always fall out of my ears, especially while doing any physical activity and all you can hear is the bass.

for a cheap comparitive product, I really like the phillips brand earbuds.

Pretty much. That being said I currently have 3 pairs of skullcandy's aha. But 2 of them were free (1 pair of Icons and 1 pair of Lowriders) and I paid $10 for a pair of Icon's. All brand new, I love momentum! But I would never pay full price for a pair of skullcandy's, every pair of ear buds I have had I have blown out within' a week.

my skullcandy earbuds lasted a month or 2 before they broke

my lowriders lasted maybe 3 months before i lost sound in one ear

my icons lasted 2 months before i lost sound in both ears

i´m looking at buying some wesc headphones. anyone ever had them?

I have had my Icons 1 year and never had a problem.

It seems like you keep buying new ones, why don't you just get em fixed?
