yes.. i did searchbar. and read many thoughts on this.. but in particular, here ya go.

So there's a Canon HV20 for sale and it comes with a bunch of extras

Yes,

For like $60 or $70 you can get an additional 2 year warranty.

also, I did have trouble connecting it to Vegas though. See my other thread for a solution.

ya.. i was looking into that (thank you for the find btw) and now all i'm wondering is how much for all the extras i'll need to get

I only bought the camera and the warranty. I am borrowing a tripod from my dad. (trust me, you'll need  one.)

Then I got ten Sony tapes from amazon.
