yeah you can I'm sorry and don't want to sound like a dick. but the kids 10 and there parents could only send one kid well then send the other next year. my parents wiped my bank account and I've been saving to go to windells for 2 years not I'm 17 and I will never have a chance to go that kid is only 10/rant

I know I'm a dick I'm just pissed I worked hard on my essay and now I have to go to work (at an indoor pool yaaaaa)

no you missed my point, the contest was for kids who will never be able to go like me I live in a house with 4 sister only my mom works I would never be able to pay for it. but this kid who over came a disease which is cool he's 10 his sister is already going. his family could have sent him when he was 11 or 12. I would never be able to go unless I pay for it in full. also a ten year old can't write an essay his mom obviously wrote the thing for him.

Point : his family would eventually be able to send him. the contest was for kids who would never be able to pay for it.

damn man, the kid was sick and you're a healthy, bitching 17 year old.  you say "eventually be able to send him." i don't know the illness the kid has or if it's recurrent or terminal, but what if there is no "eventually" for him.  Last time I checked 17 year olds can get jobs. 10 year olds can't. You could also "eventually" be able to send yourself if you worked for it. No disrespect to your situation at home, I'm sure it's tough. But I'd rather be alive and struggling than struggling to live.

he was sick like 2 years ago he's fine now. I had a cold when I was born and almost died, also I saved up for 2 year then my parent wiped my bank account I'm not hating on the kid in any way but his family can afford it

you do kinda have a point there. i like with a 10 year old and he cant articulate/ write worth a damn and niether can any of his friends. not that it really matters if its super well written...i guess....but if it was the kid obviously had alot of help.  i mean yeah both of you are in tough positions, and deserved it more than me so im glad i lost. yeah im one of 4 and worked my tits off to go while my brother gets everything handed to him but still.  i dunno how i feel about this kid winning....i guess its...good? i dunno

this is bullshit anyone can afford windells just apply for like 3 different credit cards....with like a 50 percent interest rate who cares and charge windells. i mean you will be in debt for the rest of your life but i mean honestly its worth it right?

i think i do windells is what 2000 ish, u can make 4,000 easy in a summer if u work like 4 days a week

I work at a pool for 10$ an hour mon-fri 9-4 I'm only making like 2,860$ or something like that I don't know the exact amount but a little under 3000 and thats going to help pay bill I can't aford to go unless I save up for like 2 years.
