i'm getting an amstaff puppy (2 yrs) from the humane society and i hate his name...beau. i can't think of what i wanna name him and i'm usually pretty creative. any ideas?

sorry to resort to NSG but my friends can't think of any good names.

i have about 60 acres of land so with that comes a lot of animals, from pups to horses. giuseppi is the only dog i have that is deceased. but my goal in life is to make enough money to open a rescue farm/shelter and take in as many animals as i can, rehab them, and find them great homes.

and the name changing can be difficult, depends on how well the dog listens, but after a week and lots of treats they learn.

i try my best. i recently rescued a pit bull from the side of a highway. tried to take him in but he was chipped. so i tried to get the owners to surrender him or be fined, that didn't happen either. oh well can't win them all right? i work at the local animal shelter just to help out, i mainly take care of the aggressive breeds because of the stigma. But that's awesome your mom did that :)

Why would you name a dog after a company though?  I think that's so lame.  Like imagine a dog named "Subaru" or "Wal-Mart" or some random company.

that's the reason i'm not naming my dog oakley, otherwise i love that name but i don't want a dog named after a brand name

funny thing is back in the day my mom's family had a dog named oakley before they knew about the company, i guess based off annie oakley, but it's a sick dog name

my cousins just took about 3 weeks to name their puppy, they finally decided on Hazel
