Need a little boot info

Ill be going into the local shop to get fitted for a pair of new boots for next season but i was going to poke around here and see what people have to say about their own experiences with certain boots.

I'm looking for a little stiffer boot. Something like the Tecnica agent 110, The shogun, The ghost (probably a little too stiff), or something in the 100-110 flex range. If anyone here has some experience with these boots i would love to hear a little feed back from people who have actually had some skiing done in them. Thanks!

well i have the agent 80s and they are schweet. super warm and durable. but if i were you i wouldnt buy new boots. you can get last years or 2 years ago agents for super cheap, never used.

Depends how big you are mate, In many cases - stiffer boots go hand in hand with a higher cuff which for many people becomes uncomfortable around the calf if you are a decent size..
So think about that

ALso remember that every company has a different flex index; they aren't universal.

SO a 110 salomon flex certainly isn't the same as a Nordica 110

Go for fit first, then flex second
And get footbeds.

Yeah I am going in to get fitted right when I get home. I was just going to see what people thought of the boots if they had some skiing experience in them. thank you all for the advice so far
