while they do provide needed medicine to patients, and alot of clubs strictly folow the rules, most don't. I can tell you from personal experience that pretty much everyone who has a caretakers license(can legally grow) sells most of there bud on the street. Worse yet alot of the bud sold to the clubs comes from illegal DG operations, not card carrying patients. THat is why the DEA raids clubs. they don't raid the LEGIT ones, they raid the ones that have ties to notorious DG operations.
Also atleast 90% of card carrying patients patients got those cards for bullshit reasons. 3 of my friends have them and these are the "medical conditions" they described to get it: broken nose 3 years ago, broken collarbone 2 years ago, "anxiety"- which was not medically diagnosed.
Bottom line, they either need to STRICTLY regulate it, open it up to everyone, or outright ban it.
