Catching Mice +K+

Okay I'm spending the fourth o july weekend at my relative's house in Michigan. We have a lil' buddy named José Gonzaléz (mouse) running around in his basement.

We want to catch José and train him and teach him tricks.

Trouble is, José's holed himeslf up in a cavity in the wall.

NS, how do we lure José out?

We're planning on trapping José with like a bigass tupperware type bin. Like lure José out and BAM slam the bin on top.

Sooo, how do we lure him out?...

go to home depot and buy a live trap but also buy chicken wire to put around it so the mouse cant get out

put one end of the bin on a stick tie a string to the stick put food under it and when the mouse is under it pull the stick out

smoke em out. light a fire and the sucker will come out. but seriously just blow a lot of air in there and after a while he will probably come out

hopefully this makes sence

get a bucket and set it up near a ledge thats level enough with the bucket 

then get a small light peice of wood a put peanut butter on the end

put the wood running from the ledg to the center of the bucket the side with the peanut butter overhanging the middle of the bucket

and wait, probly will happend overnight

the mouse will hopefully walk along the wood to the peanut butter and his weight will cause the wood to teatertotter and fall and due to the laws of gravity, he will end up in the bucket.

I used to have mice in my basement and this worked for catching them dont know if it will work for catching a single mouse but hey you can give it a try

and this way you dont have to go buy a trap

We have set this exact trap up for José. And now we wait.

yeah mice freekin love peanut butter just like rats in the film wanted haha (bout the only thing a took  away from that film - was pretty crap) so go buy a non leathal trap put shit loads of peanut butter in there and train away...

Haha yeah I will get pics. And it's funky chpimp not chimp you silly. YouTube rackem willie and you will understand. We put three tiny dabs of peanut butter leading up into the can on the ledge with the holy Grail of peanut butter. Jose ate one last night THE BASTARD.

UPDATE: came back and checked the trap - Jose had tripped it but however he was not in the bin. My guess is the bottle was a bit too precarious and he bumped the bottle and caused it to fall in. So I made it less precarious so he will be more likely to go into the can. I'll keep you posted.

UPDATE: jose Gonzalez the funky chpimp mouse has been captured and is now safely in captivity. Took us a day or two to get the lil bastard but once we started using a bigger bucket that seemed to do the trick. We think he was jumping out of the smaller bin. Anyways we got em now. Pictures coming soon!

you'll need
patience,
a butterfly net or any net,
a harpoon gun(optional),
and a bit of peanut butter and cracker crumbs

set up the penut butter and crackers and wait close by with your net and harpoon gun ready,
strike only when you can see the whites of his eyes lol
