Everyone on there is fucking retarded. One guy said a VX2100 is better than a DVX and HVX.

I post in the photo section every once in a while, I'm poptarts on there, found that site before Ns actually. My photo threads never get any replies... I actually just bumped mine, which I never do. It's a cool site most of the time, there's some good photographers on their, but sometimes the everything else gallery has a lot of dumb stuff and filmers just leaving "good colors" comments on everything.

SkatePerception is a joke. Atleast the filming side of things is. Well........skateboard filmmaking in general is pretty much a joke.

I go on there and speak the truth, but people are so thick skulled and on the VX1000's dick that they don't listen to reason. I guess at the age of 14 they're ignorant still huh?

There's threads on there BITCHING about HD. Saying that 4:3 SD is BETTER. I don't understand how less resolution is better. Fuck, don't get me started.

This statement is actually correct in a way. It is a trend. People like DSLR's it because they're cheap, offer interchangeable lenses, and take pictures.

What people tend to forget is that DSLR's still lack many key functions that a VIDEO CAMERA should have.

DSLR's are a a gift from heaven to all of the indie film makers and shallow DOF lovers, but they still fall short in many ways. Deffinately a step in the right direction for sure!

The thing that person said about "omgz HD!" was moronic though.

Yeah Im going to have to disagree, their photo section (and only the photo section) absolutely fucking rape NS's. Our photo section is a joke. Bunch of pretweens with a D60 and kit lens and think they know their shit. They actually have people who know a bit about taking a picture.

Honestly I like SP way better than the media and arts forum here. Not to mention Ski.The.East and 1337 are fucking retarded in the DSLR forum and seldom post useful information unlike the majority of people in there. The photo forum is 100X better than this forum by far. People on there actually know how to use flashes and give helpful tips.
