First of all "no",I didn't get to meet any of the skiers I so admire,as they were all out probly skiing:(.I don't think I would have had the courage to stop if I didn't have my son and his buddy with to encourae me.We drove up to the A-frame cabin,and knew we had the right place by the unmistakable deck,and then we saw a suv in the driveway with Jiberish and sessions stickers on it,not to mention some tight skies leaning up on the fence...so awesome! The door to the cabin was wide open,probly to air out the place haha,so we walked on up.Haley was there to meet us,and said it would be fine to take a look see at this famous cabin.She said we just missed Nick....that he just went up to Timberline:( It was really cool to see the place I've read about on their webpage.I should have left a note "Mary O'Neil was here" Haha.
As for Tom... you may know he has been in Norway this past week or so and gets back to the Hood today,so unfortunately I never had a chance to see him...dangit!! He's probably scared of me :D Anyway, it was really neat to see the place where these amazing atheletes hang out.Gosh I saw the cool jiberish sweater that Tom and Henrik wear,hanging over the railing....that was cool.Think I'm a bit star struck over these guys aren't I:D So close yet so far.Hopefully I'll have a chance to meet them again one day...its all Hood!
