Good inexpensive camcorders anyone?

Ok, I wnat to get a good miniDV camcorder, but the good ones that I want are too expensive. That was the gl2 canon. Well, until I get more money, or they start to cost less(like either is gonna happen soon) I need an inexpensive, but good quality miniDV camcorder. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

dude man get a JVC GRD-20 or something like that- I got one for my birthday and its the cheapest miniDV on the market but i filmed some skiing on it and just hook it up to ur comp and the quality is sick! JVC are super underrated, and my friend thinks that it is better than his sony which was like one thousand

Actually, you might be in luck because there are rumors that prices on DV technology could be dropping within the next year. Although, that may not be soon, so if i were you I'd go with a JVC like ^ he said, they are suprisingly good cameras. Good luck finding one.

Canons and JVC make good cheap shit. The zr series by canon are good. I have a zr20 and 40. i also have a jvc GR-D70. All three have a analog input so you can hook up vcrs and analog camcorders to it to record stuff onto the digitial camcorder. This also means you can plug in a helmet camera very easily. I have had no problems with any of these camcorders and they work great in the cold. Jvc makes a GR-D30, but it doesn't have as many bells and whistles as some others.

Hey Hey Hey. So, do the camcorders like to GR-D20 work well with movement like filming while skiing. What i mean is like does it have good stabilization and good quality for fast movement?

aight pimp the jvc rules the roost it is super easy to use and it has fucking loads of effects and shit on it so you can actually make real good quality shit on it... the JVC GR-D20

and if you want any more advice, if you cant be bother to buy pinnacle studio for 60$ then just download windows movie maker of microsoft website for free! its awesome for a freebie

i bought the JVC GRD-30....cheap...great quality...love it some much that when i rent the 5,000 cameras from my local public access channel...i will only take out the jvc...
