alright, I'm 5'10 and am gettin a new pair of skis. im lookin for a park ski, preferably mid fat but it doesnt half to be, and i was looking at the armada alpha 1s but im worried the 170 (smallest size) would be to big for me. is that right/wrong? I dont like the AR6 cuz its too soft and i already have something like that. anyone got any recommendations?

well first off, the alpha 1 is only 81 mm under foot, which is much less than "mid fat", and 170 seems to definitely be short enough for you, probably too short in fact. i would recommend the 171 line anthems but you aren't looking for a soft ski, maybe the line blend? i would call that more of a mid fat ski

170s are really short for your height. im a tiny bit taller than you and i ride 180s. if you arent sure put them on the ground in the store and stand on them as if theyre center mounted

whatup blake!! first off 170 isn't too big for you, it's actually probably too small. i ride 177s and im the same size as you. they feel perfect on both jumps and rails but you've just gotta get used to it. i know your tiny little invaders were probably a lot of fun on rails but they killed you on jumps time after time. i felt bad watching you case the medium nybora jump and not being able to do anything about it haha. idk whether you'd want rockered park skis but if you do then alpha's would be sick. armada knows their shit.
(this should be in gear talk)

there not soft in the tail...
im guessing you had a smaller size, and did not have them center mounted... that would make the tail seem harder.
