1. Create an email sign up list or look through old purchases and see if there are emails included. I dont know if your store does this but many ask for an email when checking out. Create an email blast that has the current sales or any great products you have going on at the current time.
2. Create a newsletter that talks about future sales or anything you may know of.
3. Offer any incentives that you possibly can. The more the customers/clients believe you can offer them, they will be more likely to come in.
4. Reorganize the store front or the windows. Many times change will create a new flow of customers. Do a little research and see what is the general crowd that is around your store. Find out their needs/wants/thoughts etc. You could do a little survey and stand outside the store and ask some questions like what do you normally shop for? Have you ever been in our store? What would make you shop out store? etc. Get creative. Offer up something in return for completing the survey like candy or discount coupons if necessary.
You really should advertise to the people who generally come to the shopping mall/plaza. If you have lots of old people, do some research, see what they shop for and then set up your store front for their general market. If you would have teenagers, set up the store front/windows to make teenagers want to come into your store. Having a storefront that doesn't appeal to the target market you want to reach doesn't help your cause and your wasting your time. Find out what the majority of shoppers/customers look for and want and find out who normally shops at your stores and market to that crowd of people.
