ive seen alot of hate towards americas professional sports and the atmosphere surrounding them.  I would just like to say that its true that the atmosphere surrounding pro sports here is not the crazed super intense feeling you get in SOCCER matches in europe.  THat is because pro sporting events are family friendly.  You are supposed to take the wifey and the kids to a ball game, buy some hotdogs and enjoy yourself.  Not get drunk, loud, belligerent and raise hell.

If you euros want to come to an american sporting event with a crazy atmosphere, come to big time college football games.  I promise you it is the same as the most intense SOCCER matches.
