Fucking monkeys at apple can't make software for shit. I'm trying to add music to my library and every time I add a folder half the songs don't show up or sync to my ipod. I set it to copy to my local disk for a backup and all the files that don't show up still were copied. I have no idea wtf is wrong with this shit and its really pissing me off.
the only good thing apple does is come up with ideas. They do a shitty job implementing them though. Their UI and features suck and allow no usability, not to mention their hardware blows and they price it like it was 2 years ago.

Sounds like you might have more problems than just itunes. My itunes has never had any problems like that for the 6ish years ive used it.

Seriously, get Zune software. I was a diehard iTunes fan up until a few weeks ago when it started fucking up on me. I downloaded Zune because I hate Windows Media Player and my life has never been the same. Everything is just perfect. Albums instantly added to your library and they are superbly organized even if the tracklistings are all ugly in the original folder.
Only trouble is that there aren't very useful hot keys and no visualizer. Other than that it's amazing.

the zune software is very nice, buuuuuuuuuuut apple is super anal about everything and you can't use an ipod with anything but itunes.
itunes used to work fine but recently ive been having these problems. has to be a problem with a newer version

Ah shit I completely forgot. I forgot to mention I was cool with switching because my iPod went bananas and won't play music anymore. Be like me and get a Zune (eventually I'll get one). I've been messing around with my brother's for the interim and I actually really like it.
