I pod miracle

so i was doing my laundry about a year ago and my i pod was in my pocket and got washed and didnt work fml! but now about a year later i put it on the charger and now it works thought i would share this with everyone.

ps ill prob get a couple cool story hansel's for this

its legit i was on my way to the apple store to buy a new one too then i thought i would check out my old i pod one more time and sure enough after i plugged it into the charger it works

I tend to not check my pockets when doing the wash... Ya one of them was fucked and I just got it warrantied by saying that it just stopped working randomly so they sent me a new one and then a month later or so i put that one through the wash again but it still worked after i plugged it in. Then about 2 months after that i put my shuffle through the wash and it was fine as well. I just hope i don't put my touch through the wash i can't see that ending to well haha.

did this with a gen 2, it legit didn't work for about a year and a half, then I said f it, gonna try charging it and then I am gonna use it as a paper weight.

Charged fine, and has all the songs, plays without flaw.

If you let comp parts dry out there is no reason they should not start working again.

You can drench an entire computer system in a bath of water, let it dry, and it should boot back up. This is providing you have let it sit long enough for there to no longer be any charge in it.

My mom puts it upon herself to take random shit out of my closet and wash it.

Like one pair of pants, with the belt on, wallet and shuffle in the pockets, she puts in the wash, after she found them folded in my closet ready to wear the next day

this happened to me in a bad way. i had this nano wouldnt turn on wouldnt charge or anything because i washed it in the washer. i gave it to this kid and said "you can try to make it work but im telling you its broke". he comes back the next day listening to the ipod i said how the fuck did you fix it and he said i plugged it in. i was PISSED!!

i once dropped my ipod and the screen craked kinda.... it wasnt smashed, but it had black lines and shit all over it.... then one day i was flicking thru the pod and noticed that the screen was back to normal, it was real weird, theres no scratches or anything on the screen

yeah i found an i pod on the ski hill once and it was all wet because the snow was starting to melt but i let it dry for like a week and it still works except the battery doesnt last as long anymore.
