I've been hacked

alright, i got home tonight a little drunk and so i was on AIM and facebook talking to people
so i find out that there is someone, yet again, making a fake facebook that says they are moving to my town (this has happened before). I call them out on it and they start telling how i can either play along, or i can ruin the fun. of course i tell them i will play along, but i want to know whos behind this.

so next thing i know, facebook is saying i need to log in to do this and that... so the i try to log in and my password doesnt work. then i try to log in to my gmail to change the password, and it doesnt work. now i realize i've been hacked. after hard work, i FINALLY get my gmail back and am able to get my facebook back. I message this person and tell them the jokes on you, i will call the police and they will track you IP, enjoy your laughs. they respond back "i don't think so, we're even" and then they delete their account entirely.

so now i need revenge. its somone i know. not necissarily friends with, but i know this person. somehow, they know my password too. i dont give my password to anyone. the last (and i think ony computer) i logged into facebook with was one of my friends who would never do this. i tried calling him ot ask if anyone was at his house and he was asleep. im searching for spyware or anything that could have keylogged (which i highley doubt would happen in all of like 15 minutes, right?).

im asking gmail and facebook to send me the IP's that have logged in so i can try and look it up, but i dont know if that will work out

i need your help NS, can anyone tell me how i can find this fucker and brutally murder him?

They don't care. It is so common and petty that no one pays attention.

fb and google don't get rich troubleshooting who logs in to your account. Plus ip addresses are nearly useless in the court of law. you're getting no where. legal defense team? come on, get real.

Oh yeah I work at an ISP.

Just saying, you will get no where trying to get account logs and blah blah........reallly pipe dreaming it up there.

Where I work we get bugged about this shit all day, but the only thing the company cares about / notices is sending warnings to stop sharing files, or in 3 cases I known of,give user info because of a subpoena of an ip address from the FBI for child pornography.

because this person basically had the ability to contact thousands of people under my name. he could reply to college lacrosse recruiters as me. he could email my parents, my teachers, fucking anyone i know.

he he threatened to send my child porn, so theres some reasonable doubt. this shits not over. i would appreciate you guys either helping or getting out because i dont need any negative shit in here. im so pissed its not even funny.

go to bed and dont worry, nothing will happen and he didnt contact anyone, probably was just checking out some hot chicks profile you were friends with that kept denying him, so he was able to masturbate and has the images saved now and is now set forever. hes chillin in a blue dragonballZ t-shirt with cut off jean shorts, wearing high socks and berkenstocks...i dont see a problem.

ISP's own a range of IP addresses. We have to take the IP address the RIAA logged and trace it back in the logs and find out who had that ip address on that day.

We don't give the user info out, but we give them 3 warnings before we disconnect. Child Pornography is different because we actually get a subpoena, so if we don't give up the user information, the isp would be on trial for child pornography since we own the range of IP's.

exactly. if he is not an idiot, he is constantly changing his IP. why don't you just delete your facebook/gmail and start new ones? or learn how to hack him back? post info about him on /b/ and let them go to work

you could try hacking him back at that IP you got, but because he already knows if to hack you, there's about a 99.999% chance he changed his already and you're stuck with a useless IP. also, if he knows how to hack, there's about a 99.987% chance that he hacked you from a setup he doesn't use Facebook or AIM or whatever on, and it's probably a very secure setup anyways.

you've got an extremely low chance of actually doing anything to his computer. what you should do, is find out exactly who he is and where he lives, then blow up his house. of course, because he already knows who you are and why you would have a motive to do such a thing, you will probably be a suspect and unless you were very good at leaving behind zero evidence, you will probably get fucked by the long dick of the law.

if i was you i'd drop it, change my IP, and change my passwords to something relatively random but not too hard to remember.

im pretty positive this kid (who is definitely from my town) is part on Anonymous. Im trying to get some more info on it. I reported his IP to his service provider although if he was smart, he probably did change it but its worth a shot.

1. Use private trackers
2. Throttle your bandwidth. Aka only use 25-50% of your connections capability, a customer maxing out their connection is a tell tale sign.
3. Limit the amount of connections your bittorrent client will try and open up with the torrent. While the more connections = faster speed, more connections = more network address translations. ISP's can see this, and when someone goes from a couple to all of a sudden 3000 a minute its a no brainer on our side.
4. Don't seed on your connection more than you have to, especially games / movies. Most letters we get are for people sharing things like the sims, or shitty cams of movies fresh in the theaters, not mp3's.

If you download 1 file from fileplanet.com at 1mb a second, from the isp's end it looks normal. If you download 1 file from bittorrent at 1mb a second, the isp will be able to tell, but they care less. When you have a ton of customers....dozens doing thousands of network address translations because of bittorrent it bugs the isp because it increases the server load, as well as the demand on our network.
